The Binding of Isaac Game Review!
Check out more great game reviews at the Video Game Cove!
This game is a throwback to the old Legend of Zelda games in dungeon design, which is randomly generated each game, even items found are different, to which there is a long list of different items to be found. The enemies you will face are gross, malformed, and all out to kill you, and using your tears is all you have at the start of the game, until you find more powerups. This game features different endings with each completion of the game, with 10 endings. Binding of Isaac is a game that allows for multiple playings of the game, with a long list of collectiables, various bosses and new bosses unlocked by meeting criteria, and more levels as you play the game.
The musical soundtrack for this game, which can be purchased for a very low sum, features a haunting, yet appropriate musical score, detailing the foreboding atmosphere in which you are exploring. The dungeons also feature a vast array of traps and obstacles as you make your way to the boss room in the levels. You can find such rooms, such as treasure rooms, devil room, arcades, secret rooms and more. Upon completion of the game meeting their criteria, you will be able to use more Isaac characters, which come with different stats and items, which will make the game harder or easier, depending on your play style.
Overall, I find Binding of Isaac to be a very well constructed and awesome game, offering challenging gameplay, multiple playthroughs, superb soundtrack, and if you are in the mood for more binding of isaac expansions, you can purchase Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb, for only 3.99$ currently. The original game is usually only 4.99$, barring sales and specials from Steam. and the Soundtrack is usually only 0.99$
